About the role

  • From conception and development to the optimization of existing applications.
  • You translate international customer requirements into concepts, architecture and applications.
  • Independently carry out all tasks from technical conception and implementation to testing and documentation.
  • Keep up with current technologies and, together with the team, evaluate which trends should be applied to further develop the products.
  • Influence the cloud architecture.

Requirements

  • Passion for software development and, ideally, an interest in the logistics/forwarding industry.
  • Several years of professional experience in the Java ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with common standards such as Java EE, JMS, MicroProfile, JAX-RS, and Hibernate.
  • Java frontend development and topics such as CI/CD, microservices, and containers should be familiar to you.
  • Initial experience in the area of "technical software" (JBoss Application Server, SQL databases, JMS message brokers).
  • Good English language skills.
  • A self-directed, structured and results-oriented working style.
