About the role

  • Plan and support projects in event and broadcast technology in Wuppertal and worldwide – from initial concept through to implementation.
  • Install and service analog and digital RF/wireless systems, communication systems, and camera systems on-site.
  • Set up wireless and wired communication systems and maintain smaller IT systems.
  • Diagnose faults at the component/assembly level and resolve malfunctions – both in Wuppertal and on customer sites.
  • Document events and ensure all operations run smoothly.

Requirements

  • Completed technical training, e.g., mechatronics technician, event technician, electronics technician (devices & systems), IT technician, or communications technician
  • Enthusiasm for technology, especially RF/wireless, intercom, audio, and IT systems
  • Some experience in event or broadcast technology, or the willingness to learn and develop in these areas
  • Willingness to travel internationally, flexibility, and enjoyment of varied assignments at events
  • Good German and English skills for collaboration with customers and international teams
  • Driver's license (Class B)
  • Forklift license and/or IPAF certification desirable
