About the role

  • You plan and manage projects in event and transmission technology in Wuppertal and worldwide – from the initial concept to implementation.
  • You install and maintain analog and digital radio systems, communication systems, and camera systems on site.
  • You set up wireless and wired communication systems and support smaller IT systems.
  • You diagnose faults at the module/component level and resolve malfunctions – both in Wuppertal and directly at customer sites.
  • You document events and ensure that all workflows run smoothly.

Requirements

  • Completed technical training, e.g., as a mechatronics technician, event technician, electronics technician for devices & systems, IT technician, or communications electronics technician
  • Enthusiasm for technology, especially radio, intercom, audio, and IT systems
  • Initial experience in event or broadcast technology or the motivation to train in these areas
  • Willingness to travel internationally, flexibility, and enjoyment of varied assignments at events
  • Good German and English skills for working with customers and international teams
  • Class B driving license
  • Forklift license and/or IPAF certificate desirable
