About the role
- Handling and resolution of complex accounting matters
- Analysis and resolution of exceptional or non-standard business transactions
- Development of policies and internal special projects
- Participation in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings according to HGB
- Close collaboration with auditors, tax advisors and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in accounting
- Excellent knowledge of financial accounting and the closing process
- Confident knowledge of HGB; other accounting standards are an advantage
- Analytical, structured working style
- Ability to work independently and a strong sense of responsibility
- Strong communication skills and a confident presence
- Very good German and good English skills
