About the role

  • Hold overall responsibility for technical management and standards for RIEDEL technology within the motorsport segment
  • Support the development and innovation of our technical standards for one of our largest projects
  • Plan, implement, and operate communications, signaling, and intercom infrastructures for all racing events
  • Coordinate and technically integrate Riedel systems
  • Monitor system performance, analyze errors, and quickly troubleshoot issues during events
  • Provide disciplinary leadership for the on-site technician team during series production
  • Develop and implement onboarding strategies and training programs
  • Participate in budget and workforce planning
  • Take responsibility for employee development and performance management
  • Oversee technical preparations, tests, and approvals before the season starts and throughout the series
  • Facilitate coordination between engineering, project management, and the experts team
  • Plan resources, shift schedules, and worldwide deployment of teams

Requirements

  • Completed technical degree in media technology, communications engineering, IT, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in a senior technical management or project management role, ideally within international live event or broadcast environments
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience including both technical and disciplinary management
  • Deep knowledge of IP-based networks, intercom systems, broadcast technologies, and signal distribution
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, international environments
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams
  • Willingness to travel worldwide
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
