About the role
- Take on technical specialist planning and lead the technical implementation
- Plan, organize and manage national and international multi-sport and multi-venue projects from tendering to implementation
- Work closely with internal specialist departments
- Operational planning and monitoring of technical requirements and financial framework conditions
- Act as the central point of contact for projects
- Ensure adherence to budget, timelines and quality standards
- Monitor project implementation and prepare reports
- Lead the project team on site and coordinate external partners
Requirements
- Successfully completed industry-specific vocational training or degree, ideally with a focus on event management, media production or related fields
- Several years of experience as a project manager in the events industry, preferably with international exposure and in live productions
- Strong technical understanding and interest in innovative audio, video and network technology solutions
- Willingness to travel internationally and flexibility for longer overseas assignments
- Assertiveness, natural leadership skills and a solution-oriented working style
- Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team and a structured, precise working style
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of Vectorworks, Easyjob or comparable ERP systems (advantageous)
