About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide all core Cost Management services on a number of projects
- Act as the main client liaison
- Support the existing team in project delivery
- Manage property and business support issues in the Region, promoting efficiency, effectiveness and best practice
- Control the budget for property and infrastructure in the Region
- Promote continuous improvement of Intelligence
- Carry out local QA and H&S audits within the Region to ensure conformance
- Participate in the development of Rider Levett Bucknall strategy
- Manage ongoing revenue, costs and profit
- Deliver annual and medium-term business plans
- Plan resources and maintain adequate resources for profitable customer satisfaction
- Take responsibility for all aspects of project delivery
- Monitor technical performance on projects and regularly review projects with staff and customers
- Keep up to date with current thinking and best practice within the discipline
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar technical discipline
- MRICS or membership of another relevant professional body
- Strong experience in Healthcare, Education and Commercial sectors
- Strong technical delivery experience
- Previously employed by a consultancy or end user client
- Stakeholder management experience with a clear focus on developing client accounts
- Client-focused, positive collaborator who shares knowledge and supports peers and seniors
- Team player with a strong willingness to learn
- Positive and proactive approach
- Commitment to customer service excellence and good commercial results
