Controller

• Ownership and accountability for full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements including related analysis, year end files, tax filings and regulatory reporting
• Supervise and mentor the internal finance team, including overseeing day-to-day operations and performance management
• Prepare and monitor annual and monthly operating expense budgets in collaboration with department leaders
• Oversee and process payroll in collaboration with the Human Resources Team to ensure accuracy
• Monitor KPI’s and provide timely insights and relevant reporting to Director of Finance with the goal of improving firm performance
• Prepare routine and ad-hoc reporting as required to support decision-making or operational needs
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance
• Responsibility for the implementation and continual enhancement of financial systems software and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
