Manager I, Solutions Portfolio – Document Scanners

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the document scanner portfolio technologies and relationships with sales teams, marketing, third-party partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Drive revenue, gross profit, and sales KPIs for the assigned portfolio.
- Lead go-to-market (GTM) strategy, including successful product launches, lifecycle management, and long-term portfolio planning.
- Align solutions and technologies with market requirements, customer needs, and overall company strategy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as supply chain, training, legal, IT, and operations.
- Execute portfolio strategies aligned with customer segmentation and channel requirements.
- Monitor sales KPIs and partner with sales and marketing operations to achieve performance targets and mitigate shortfalls.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) liaison for RCL and other operating companies.
- Apply RISE methodology, including voice-of-customer insights and Gemba activities, to understand real-world needs.
- Serve as the primary expert for the portfolio, including competitive analysis, forecasting, and supply chain considerations.
- Represent Ricoh as an industry evangelist at conferences, trade shows, and customer events.
- Manage financial budgets for the assigned portfolio.
- Partner with Program Managers to provide insights that drive strategic initiatives.
- Ensure business requirements are incorporated into all product initiatives.
- Stay informed on industry trends, innovations, and competitive developments, particularly in digital technology and e-commerce.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in product or solution management.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience within the relevant business or technology domain.
- Sales experience or CDIA+ certification is a plus.
- Experience managing products, processes, and (where applicable) teams.
