About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establish and monitor target inventory levels to effectively balance customer satisfaction with asset control.
- Monitor overall key planning inputs such as fill rates, forecast accuracy, safety stock, lead time, excess inventory, in transit inventory, and order execution.
- Responsible for inventory dollar purchase patterns, delivery commitments from vendors and develop action plans to resolve issues that impact the achievement of established inventory plans.
- Schedules and revises shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution of products to satisfy customers
- Analyze inventory levels, production speed and product demand to determine reorder levels which will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals to perform a variety of tasks.
- Responsible for maintenance of inventory by way of documentation, processing, as well as system review.
- Required to analyze, reconcile and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Work with Marketing, TSSC and Japan to ensure most updated parts information and assured availability
- Work with Cross Functional groups to improve group performance and flow of information New part and DC registration in NSP
- Executing clear strategy for new and discontinued products, maximizing the customer experience
- Monitors all aspects of 24/7 After hours support activities (inbound/ out bound/ invoicing).
- Develop/ Report KPI activity for after hour support program
- Monitor overall key planning inputs such as fill rates, forecast accuracy, excess inventory, in transit inventory, order execution
- Provide guidance to item master team on various item issues.
- Monitor and adjust key business data.
- Auditing and processing 3rd Party Logistics invoices in timely manner.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge of inventory management information technology systems
- Knowledge of principals, theories, and concepts in inventory planning and asset control
- Effective forecasting, analytical and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of company and organization policies, practices and procedures
- Need to be proactive in identifying issues and taking longer-term actions.
- Experience in MS Office suite including MS Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint is required.
