About the role
- Get a firsthand look at how traditional print software has evolved into a modern microservices based, serverless, software as a service business model.
- Define market requirements and work with engineering to deliver a solution with a focus on Data Analytics, Dashboards, IoT, and Artificial Intelligence.
- Learn how to turn product capabilities into customer value by understanding the customer, the marketplace, Ricoh’s software portfolio, and the competitive landscape.
- Support for production print areas of the market.
- Observe the value of becoming a product and market evangelist.
- Engage with the sales team to educate them about your project and how you’ve solved their customer’s problems.
- Help define the product management requirements in a way that our SaaS software engineering team can effectively solve the customer’s problem.
- Follow the progress of the project as it progresses through an Agile scrum-based development process.
Requirements
- Student must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Students should be pursuing a degree in a related major in the department of interest and possess some former work or internship experience.
- Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Students are to successfully complete all required screenings prior to hire.
- University undergraduate degree in marketing, business, computer science or engineering.
- MBA preferred.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
- Pragmatic Marketing certification preferred.
- Software Product Management experience and/or coursework.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation and product demonstration skills.
- Strong communicator with collaborative, cross-organizational teaming skills.
- An understanding of Agile Scrum development methodology.
- Background taking new software technologies to market and successful commercialization.
- AWS, AI, ML, Data Analytics, and IoT experience preferred.
