About the role
- Support Ricoh Imaging Business and/or other assigned Business Units or Divisions.
- Collaborate closely with Ricoh’s Finance and Business Management teams to develop and maintain consolidation and management reporting models.
- Responsible for maintaining all parent company SBU, product-line, and other data mappings.
- Ensure accurate reporting across P&L, balance sheet, units, and other financial metrics.
- Provide financial analysis for monthly close and other reporting periods.
- Participate regularly in strategic planning and forecasting (monthly, semi-annual, and annual).
- Assist the Manager in implementing operational and financial improvements and projects.
- Collect and prepare monthly reports for the Parent Company, Financial Management, and Operational/Functional leadership, ensuring accuracy.
- Maintain reporting models and mappings (SBU, RIM COA, Product Line, etc.).
- Prepare and distribute monthly management reports and parent company consolidation packages (P&L, balance sheet, and other reports).
- Perform financial analyses, adjusting entries, accounts payable, and BU allocations for monthly general ledger close.
- Support projects aimed at understanding and improving business and financial performance for Ricoh Imaging or other assigned entities.
- Identify opportunities to enhance accounting/finance processes and data quality; lead or consult on improvement initiatives.
- Assist with monthly, semi-annual, and annual forecasting and planning; maintain related reports and models.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly management presentations.
- Handle confidential and proprietary information with discretion; interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (Finance or Accounting preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, with strong financial reporting and planning background.
- Solid financial and analytical expertise.
- Strong understanding of multi-dimensional business, data, and information relationships.
- Familiarity with GAAP accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Oracle, RBIS (or similar database systems).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
- Results-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and implement company policies effectively.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, deadline-driven, and service-oriented environment.
