About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the sales activities within the designated territory through direct sales efforts
  • Planning and supervising the weekly activity of direct Sales Representatives
  • Development of strategic sales planning, market penetration and execution strategies to consistently exceed goals
  • Leads and motivates a high-performing team to achieve sales goals
  • Communicates territory sales/quota expectations and reviews territory performance
  • Provides customer support as the local, corporate Territory Manager
  • Creates and implements strategic sales measures
  • Completes territory sales analysis, sales forecast, and other reports as assigned
  • Works with the Marketing Department to maintain relationships with key physicians
  • Coordinates and attends local conventions/meetings/workshops as a corporate representative
  • Collaborates with the National Accounts Manager for sales related activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • B.S. or B.A. in related field required
  • 4 years of medical sales experience with managerial duties, highly preferred
  • Experience with endoscopic surgery products preferred
  • Urology experience a definite plus
  • Excellent and prompt communication skills
  • Results-oriented leadership, effective decision-making, and strong technical expertise
  • Effective time management skills, ability to prioritize workloads, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient PC skills and familiarity with all MS Office suite of products
  • Experience with and understanding of multi-cultural and multi-generational differences
