About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain extensions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC Online) using AL and Visual Studio Code
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable ERP solutions
  • Integrate Business Central with third-party systems via APIs and web services
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes to ensure high code quality
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation
  • Support deployment and maintenance of Business Central solutions in cloud environments
  • Stay up to date with Microsoft’s latest updates and best practices for Business Central development

Requirements

  • Proven experience in developing solutions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ideally in cloud (BC Online) environments
  • Strong knowledge of AL language, extensions, and the Business Central development environment
  • Familiarity with ERP processes, especially in finance, accounting, or supply chain
  • Experience with API integrations, web services, and data exchange formats (e.g., JSON, XML)
  • Solid understanding of software development principles, version control (e.g., Git), and agile methodologies
  • Good communication skills in English; German is a plus
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for clean code, problem-solving, and continuous learning
