About the role

  • Optimizing processes and taking an active role in projects for automation, standardization, digitization and efficiency improvements in accounting
  • Contributing to the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
  • Analyzing financial data and preparing reports for management
  • Ensuring compliance with tax and legal regulations
  • Supporting budget planning and forecasting
  • Acting as a point of contact for auditors, tax advisors and internal departments
  • Ensuring implementation of the internal control system

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in an international environment
  • Solid knowledge of HGB and IFRS
  • Confident user of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Excel
  • Analytical thinking, a structured working approach and strong attention to detail
  • Team player with strong communication skills in German (at least C level) and English (at least B level)
