About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze and resolve complex application-related, technical, and subject-matter inquiries concerning RIB 4.0
  • Coordinate the expert team comprising Support, Product Management, and Development through to solution delivery
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through expert, solution-oriented support
  • Ensure compliance with defined service levels and quality standards
  • Analyze errors, investigate root causes, and develop sustainable solutions
  • Analyze root causes across system, process, and application levels
  • Identify, reproduce, and systematically document software defects
  • Implement long-term measures to prevent recurring issues
  • Prepare and communicate customer feedback and support insights to Product Management and Development
  • Help shape and continuously improve service and support processes
  • Build, maintain, and expand support expertise
  • Create and maintain knowledge-base articles, solution documentation, and best practices
  • Promote knowledge sharing and provide technical support to Support Engineers on complex issues
  • Contribute to the further development of products, processes, and services
  • Work closely with Product Management and Development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Successfully completed degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Very good user knowledge of RIB 4.0
  • Sound understanding of construction processes and their representation in the system
  • In-depth technical understanding of databases, interfaces, and system processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills
  • Experience in escalation management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to share knowledge and provide technical support to colleagues
  • Independent, structured, and responsible approach to work
  • Very good German language skills (at least C1 level)
  • At least good English language skills (B2 level)
  • Several years of experience in software or application support is an advantage
  • Knowledge of data exchange formats such as JSON and XML is an advantage
