About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and evolve application architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and solution quality
Work directly on development, code review, and technical validation of deliverables
Lead architectural decisions, evaluating technical trade-offs (e.g., cost vs. performance, complexity vs. scalability)
Mentor software engineers, raising the team's technical level and promoting best practices
Support squads in technical decision-making and solution design
Ensure adherence to standards, engineering best practices, and architectural governance
Act as a bridge between business, product, and technology teams, translating needs into viable technical solutions
Actively participate in the evolution of the technology platform and architectural standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience in software architecture and application development
Experience with scalable architectures (e.g., microservices, APIs, distributed integrations)
Proven ability to write code and work hands-on
Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Knowledge of engineering practices such as CI/CD, version control, observability, and monitoring
Experience in technical reviews (design review / code review) and defining standards
Ability to evaluate and decide between different technical approaches
