About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor industrial costs and factory performance, tracking the production plan to accurately project cost-per-minute rates.
- Track waste (materials, time, and productivity), ensuring proper cost composition and quotation of product costs.
- Consolidate technical data to build reliable cost estimates.
- Negotiate and validate estimated costs with the commercial team.
- Assess adherence between system records/parameter settings and operational reality.
- Analyze product cost composition, identifying main cost drivers and variances.
- Define and monitor industrial KPIs (cost per minute, gross margin, forecasted vs. actual margin, planned vs. realized CAPEX, and project status).
- Support decision-making through critical analysis of historical and current results.
- Lead the area team, reporting directly to senior leadership.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in industrial costing.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, with the ability to interpret operational performance.
- Strong analytical skills for cost evaluation (materials, losses, consumption, and efficiency).
- Experience in the textile sector is not mandatory, provided the candidate has a consistent industrial background.
- Technical profile with close proximity to operations and a practical outlook.
- Bachelor's degree completed.
- Availability to work based in Natal, RN.
