About the role

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Java;
  • Design and implement solutions based on Hexagonal Architecture, ensuring decoupling, testability and extensibility;
  • Build and evolve environments on AWS, following cloud computing best practices;
  • Integrate Artificial Intelligence solutions, especially using AWS KERO;
  • Ensure observability standards, including metrics, structured logs, distributed tracing and alerts;
  • Create and maintain automated tests (unit, integration and end-to-end);
  • Version code using GIT and Azure DevOps, with CI/CD pipelines;
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies: planning, daily stand-ups, refinement, reviews and retrospectives;
  • Produce clear technical documentation: sequence diagrams, architecture diagrams and functional/technical documentation;
  • Collaborate with product, QA, operations and other technology teams.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, among others);
  • Proficiency in backend development with Node.js and Java;
  • Practical knowledge of Hexagonal Architecture and modern design patterns;
  • Familiarity with integrating AI solutions, especially using AWS KERO;
  • Experience with observability practices (logs, metrics, tracing);
  • Experience with automated testing (Jest, JUnit, etc.);
  • Experience with GIT and Azure DevOps;
  • Prior work in agile methodologies;
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field;
  • Ability to produce architecture diagrams and documentation.
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience with CI/CD in Azure DevOps;
  • AWS certifications;
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes);
  • Knowledge of application security (OWASP, IAM, etc.).
