About the role
- Operate and manage security tools such as EDRs, antivirus, password vaults, digital certificates, SSE, SIEM, and others.
- Ensure security controls for systems, maintaining continuity and operational resilience.
- Prepare tool performance reports and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Resolve incidents and problems related to malfunctioning security tools.
- Continuously tune and optimize performance so security tools remain up to date and enforce the correct policies to protect the environment.
- Work directly with the SOC team to support investigations and with infrastructure teams to ensure security tools are fully operational and effective.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related IT field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in Information Security, focused on operations and support of technology solutions with an emphasis on cybersecurity.
- Information security certifications such as ISO 27001, ITIL, Security+ and product-specific security certifications.
- Languages: Advanced English.
- Relevant courses in the area.
- Advanced knowledge of frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, COBIT, and ITIL.
- Experience with technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, anti-spam, proxy, WAF, NDR, SIEM, digital certificates, and password vaults, among other security technologies.
- Managed services processes.
- Active Directory.
- Networks and IT protocols.
- Technology infrastructure and architecture.
- Experience in environments regulated by BACEN (Brazilian Central Bank).
- Cloud environments.
- Operating systems: Windows / Linux.
