About the role
- Build and scale VC relationships with top-tier firms, emerging managers, and solo GPs across San Francisco
- Partner with accelerators (YC, Pear, StartX) to engage cohorts at scale
- Drive a warm referral pipeline tied directly to acquisition goals and team quota
- Run point on high-conversion relationships and build warm referral engines
- Attend and represent Rho at top startup events, demo days, and deal dinners
- Track, measure, and optimize referral conversion, partner impact, and event performance
- Represent Rho in the field and act as a visible market owner
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in VC partnerships, channel partnerships, or VC platform
- Deep familiarity with the San Francisco venture scene
- Experience leading or supporting founder-first events
- Ability to build long-term relationships and execute short-term initiatives
- Credible, founder-facing operator skills
- Willingness to own a market and represent Rho on the front lines
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US (application asks)
- Willing and able to work from local office 5 days/week (application asks)
