About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain HR notice boards and update information across all sites
- Support employee engagement activities, including charity and events
- Manage onsite temporary labour provision and act as contact point for agencies and operations
- Complete weekly agency timesheets and report agency headcount
- Create SFDC logins for new starters and ensure operations receive relevant data from day one
- Liaise with agencies and Operations regarding staffing requirements, reductions, absences, holidays, sickness, and workplace events
- Arrange agency inductions and maintain agency holiday, absence, leaver, and starter records
- Support HR compliance, including eligibility-to-work documentation and employee records
- Post job adverts on WORKDAY and across sites, arrange interviews, and support onboarding and inductions
- Request and check right-to-work and new-starter documentation
- Prepare and post business announcements and training documentation
- Provide HR administrative support, file personnel documentation, and respond to employee queries
- Check HR post-boxes at each site and support the HR absence line
- Perform other ad-hoc HR duties as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- GCSE Maths and English minimum Level 1/2 equivalent
- Full Driving Licence
- IT skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude and drive
- Organized and able to work independently
- Ability to keep sensitive information private and confidential
- Minimum 1 year within an administrative function
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a recruiting role
- Customer Service experience in a generalist role
- Knowledge of immigration/eligibility to work in the UK
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent administration and customer service skills
- Exposure to systems
- Proactive approach to continuous development
