About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Agent and vendor management
- Manage and evaluate all agents and vendors of COL
- Oversee contracts with third-party service providers
- Ensure COL manual complies with international shipping laws
- Manage claims and insurance management
- Responsible for the framework and operational oversight of COL Bills of Lading and Sea waybills
- Monitor compliance with corporate governance policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Subject matter expert in Ocean freight
- Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of ocean operations including handling of dangerous goods
- Understanding embargo/sanctions and required advance filings
- Proficient in claim handling processes
- Sound knowledge of different country regulations related to Bills of Lading and local customs practices
