About the role
- Accountable for the professional and disciplinary leadership of the entire HR team in Germany.
- Build a high-performing, strategically aligned HR organization and actively drive the transformation toward clear processes, standards, and modern people leadership.
- Play an active role in establishing a modern HR organization in Germany and support transformation processes.
- Develop a future-oriented leadership and corporate culture.
- Lead and develop our HR Business Partner team and ensure consistent, service-oriented HR advisory.
- Act as a trusted sparring partner for the executive team and managers on all strategic and operational people topics.
- Expand our HR priorities such as Recruiting, Talent & Learning, and HR-IT & Analytics.
- Develop modern HR tools, programs, and data-driven management approaches.
- Optimize our HR services (including payroll and administration) and ensure efficient, cross-site processes.
- Establish clear standards and a reliable service and escalation management system.
Requirements
- Several years of leadership experience in a comparable HR management role with a focus on team development and successful steering of change initiatives.
- Solid knowledge of labor law, collective bargaining and works constitution law, with confident practical application and experience working with co-determination bodies (e.g., works council).
- Experience in change management, organizational development and HR digitalization, as well as in building modern HR structures and processes.
- Ideally, experience with Workday implementation (e.g., activity splits, processes, responsibilities).
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills when engaging with executive management, managers, employees and the works council.
- Result-oriented leader with a hands-on mentality and a strategic perspective on HR transformation.
- Fluent German and business-level English.
