About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing product information in a timely manner
  • Utilize ERP System to accurately process and manage customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns, samples: as well as opportunity tracking, design registrations and ship & debits
  • Work with the Field Sales and Product Management teams on the following: Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
  • Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications
  • Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items
  • Obtain accurate information from vendors relating to shipment dates and expected date of delivery
  • Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability
  • Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, and add-on sales
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree (Electrical Engineering or Business preferred)
  • Three plus years related experience in Sales/Marketing environment
  • Bright, energetic professional with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and varying deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-driven and independent
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT), and web-based CRM too
