About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify and prioritise strategic partnerships across merchants, marketplaces, payment providers and technology ecosystems
Develop partnership opportunities and convert them into structured pilots and commercial deployments
Collaborate with product, engineering, operations and commercial teams to execute initiatives and remove barriers to delivery
Build repeatable playbooks, onboarding processes and operating rhythms to support growth
Support merchant activation and AI commerce initiatives across emerging channels
Prepare commercial proposals, business cases and materials for internal and external stakeholders
Monitor market developments and translate insights into practical growth opportunities
Drive execution and maintain momentum across strategic priorities in partnership with senior leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ability to turn ambiguous opportunities into structured and executable programs
Strong commercial instincts combined with operational depth
Experience working collaboratively across multiple functions and external partners
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to develop business cases and measure outcomes
Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders while managing operational details
Curiosity about AI-powered commerce and emerging technologies
Ability to thrive in fast-moving and evolving environments
Experience in e-commerce, payments, fintech, marketplaces or platform ecosystems (plus)
Exposure to startups, venture-building environments or high-growth technology companies (plus)
Familiarity with APAC commerce markets and cross-border ecosystems (plus)
Knowledge of AI, search, recommendation technologies or digital commerce solutions (plus)
