About the role
- Grow new business by attracting large and high-profile industrial prospects
- Serve primarily as a hunter role for multiple Reworld Waste and Reworld Environmental facilities in assigned region
- Identify and qualify prospects; research and analyze sales options
- Identify and manage all steps of the RFP process
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of Company’s service lines, pricing structures, and sell additional services to existing customers
- Utilize REWORLD-directed CRM daily; schedule and document calls, meetings and proposals
- Regularly meet with Sales Director to review customer retention, relationship activities, progress versus goals and status of key accounts
- Input, communicate and oversee monthly forecast and annual budget for assigned facilities, direct accounts and 3rd-party environmental service companies
- Follow established protocols regarding contracts, credit, pricing, procedures and documentation
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in sales and account management in the Industrial Waste Management, Waste to Energy, Hazardous or Non-Hazardous waste industry (strongly preferred) with a proven track record
- Must live in Northern VA or within 50 miles of Fairfax area
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or equivalent experience
- Ability to easily communicate the needs of the Reworld waste and facility operations to clients
- Ability to contribute both as a sole contributor and as a team member
- Ability to communicate the Reworld value proposition across all levels of the client organization
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated and technical industry
- Travel – mostly within region, but up to 45%
- Physical demands: Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb; Ability to lift/carry 50lbs; Consistently work in various weather conditions
