About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Source, screen, and recruit qualified healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, caregivers, and other clinical staff.
- Manage high-volume recruitment pipelines and maintain a steady flow of candidates.
- Coordinate urgent and shift-based placements to meet client staffing requirements.
- Conduct interviews, reference checks, and candidate assessments.
- Verify licenses, certifications, credentials, and other compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and successful placements.
- Monitor candidate availability and manage scheduling for temporary and locum assignments.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in healthcare recruitment, specifically within locum, temporary, or agency staffing.
- Strong understanding of healthcare staffing processes and compliance requirements.
- Experience recruiting nurses, therapists, caregivers, or other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies and urgent placements simultaneously.
- Excellent sourcing, screening, and interviewing skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in ATS, CRM systems, and standard recruitment tools.
- - **Preferred:**
- Experience working with shift-based staffing models.
- Knowledge of healthcare credentialing and background check processes.
- Previous agency recruitment experience within the healthcare sector.
