About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payments, collections, and reconciliations.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and maintain comprehensive financial records.
Prepare monthly financial reports related to cash flow, aging reports, and account reconciliations.
Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing schedules and supporting documentation.
Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in AP/AR operations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
2-4 years of experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices in AP/AR.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and client relations.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
