About the role
- Provision and maintain AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, RDS, S3) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Apply network and security configurations in line with platform standards and guardrails.
- Configure application-level monitoring and alerting using CloudWatch and the platform’s observability stack.
- Participate in cutover events and post-migration stabilization, troubleshooting infrastructure issues.
- Contribute to automation runbooks and cost optimization activities.
Requirements
- 3+ years in AWS cloud engineering.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Solid networking knowledge (VPC design, subnets, security groups, routing).
- Understanding of Windows and Linux workloads being migrated from VMware.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or Associate certification.
