About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as the bridge between clients and the development team
  • Deep dive into client businesses to understand problems
  • Work with UX experts and the wider team to architect and document technology-based solutions
  • Perform requirements gathering, including leading client workshops
  • Develop business, functional, and technical documentation, including BRDs and FSDs
  • Communicate client requirements clearly to developers and designers
  • Contribute to client-facing AI consulting and implementation projects
  • Help drive internal rollout of AI tools and processes
  • Assist with development and validation of quotes
  • Oversee and complete testing, verification, validation, and quality control
  • Communicate with clients regarding project requests and updates
  • Write test scenarios, test cases, and test plans
  • Create and provide end-user training and documentation
  • Act as the primary point of contact for some clients
  • Provide customer service internally and externally
  • Escalate issues affecting product delivery and quality
  • Contribute to the company knowledge base and process improvements
  • Work across Waterfall and Agile/Hybrid frameworks
  • Assist with system solution and architecture design
  • At times, plan projects, manage clients, and steer delivery through to completion

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, including systems and process analysis
  • Experience in a comparable role in a digital agency or consultancy preferred
  • Current Australian resident based in Melbourne or surrounding suburbs
  • Experience leading requirements workshops
  • Experience writing BRDs and FSDs to an extremely high standard
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Active and confident daily use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot from day one
  • Comfortable performing digital producer duties, managing projects and clients, and owning delivery end to end
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience developing test plans and test scenarios
  • Ability to design logical database structures
  • Excellent presentation skills, including leading workshops
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and calm under pressure
