About the role

  • Develop detailed test plans, defining test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Create, maintain and execute automated test scripts (functional, API and regression) to ensure delivery agility.
  • Validate endpoints, contracts and integrations using tools such as Postman, Insomnia or automation frameworks.
  • Identify, log and track the lifecycle of bugs, performing triage and prioritization with the development team.
  • Actively participate in Dailies, Plannings and Refinements, helping identify risks and ensuring quality is considered from the start.
  • Generate quality metrics and execution reports to support decision-making about the release of new features.
  • Provide technical support to junior QAs and promote a quality culture within the cross-functional team.

  • Create test cases, test suites and test objects in Katalon
  • Use Custom Keywords for code reuse
  • Manage test data (Excel, CSV, databases)
  • Execute tests across different browsers and devices
  • Analyze Katalon reports and logs
  • Apply the test pyramid approach
  • Katalon TestOps for execution management
  • Katalon Runtime Engine for large-scale executions
  • Advanced customization using Groovy scripts
  • Integration with Jira, Slack or other management tools
