💰 $18 - $21 per hour
About the role
- Responsible for providing excellent customer service.
- Ensure accuracy of patient information and receive patient payment
- Checking prescriptions for completeness and entering necessary information into the computer
- Communicating with prescribers to receive refill authorization
- Receiving patient refills by telephone, directing calls or taking and relaying messages
- Maintaining an organized and efficient workspace
- Investigating an incidence and/or variance as needed, documenting variances as needed
- Technician will be cross trained to help with large account orders
- Other duties, responsibilities and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.
Requirements
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Must be a Stated Licensed Pharmacy Technician to perform fulfilment or compounding activities
- Excellent work ethic, including a personal drive to excel independently.
- Solid PC skills including Microsoft software
- Certified Technician is preferred
- Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds.
- Moving, lifting, or carrying boxes.
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Fine Motor Skills
- Visual acuity
