About the role
- Lead discovery conversations that go beyond surface-level needs
- Understand the client's data architecture, governance challenges, and monetization goals
- Deliver demos that resemble collaborative problem-solving sessions rather than simple product presentations
- Create and maintain demo environments that showcase real-world use cases
- Stay in regular contact with the engineering team to relay field feedback
- Define the technical scope of proofs of concept and workshops
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solution architecture, or technical sales
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS required; Azure/GCP a plus)
- Hands-on experience with the modern data stack: Snowflake, Databricks, or equivalent
- Proficiency with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and API tools (Swagger, Postman)
- Comfortable with the command line and able to script solutions (Python preferred)
- Experience creating architecture diagrams and client technical documentation
- Fluent English required; French is a strong asset
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
