About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create civil engineering plans, details, calculations, and documentation for renewable energy and land development projects.
Support site design, grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion control, access roads, and related civil design scope.
Apply civil engineering principles, standards, procedures, and criteria to develop practical and constructible design solutions.
Prepare project documentation, including drawings, reports, technical studies, specifications, and supporting calculations.
Coordinate design work with internal project teams, including civil, structural, electrical, project management, and other disciplines.
Review site constraints, permitting requirements, jurisdictional standards, and project-specific criteria.
Identify design issues, project risks, and opportunities to improve quality, constructability, or efficiency.
Support project execution in alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
Perform essential duties, including meeting deliverables and deadlines.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Experience in civil engineering design, land development, renewable energy, infrastructure, site design, or a related field.
Working knowledge of civil engineering principles, standards, codes, and design practices.
Ability to prepare or contribute to engineering drawings, calculations, reports, and project documentation.
Ability to identify and solve engineering problems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to be both creative and analytical.
Detail-oriented and accurate.
Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
Collaborative approach to project delivery and cross-functional coordination.
