Civil Engineer

• Create highly complex site layouts and designs in AutoCAD/Civil 3D for utility and commercial-scale renewable energy projects
• Oversee projects in a portfolio or a suite of projects
• Review complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance
• Independently apply extensive and diversified knowledge of renewable development design principles and practices
• Support client interaction for multiple projects in multiple portfolios
• Coordinate cross-functionality between disciplines
• Supervise, provide training for, and mentor assigned staff engineers
• Independently evaluate, select, and adapt procedures and criteria
• Develop new techniques and/or improved processes, materials, or products
• Assist upper-level management and staff as a technical specialist or advisor
• Act as supervisor when required and lead staff necessary to complete assignments
• Review and finalize scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments
• Prepare proposals to provide professional services for engineering projects or portfolios
• Plan, schedule, or coordinate the preparation of documents or activities for multiple major projects or entire portfolios
• Act as main point of contact for their discipline or project team on portfolios
• Ensure deliverables and deadlines are met and perform additional duties as assigned or directed
