About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advising on and selling PLM and CPQ software
- Prospecting and acquiring new customers
- Qualifying new customer leads
- Identifying customer requirements
- Presenting tailored solutions
- Conducting and supporting product demos
- Full sales-cycle management
- Managing new customers both remotely and on-site
- Identifying cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
- Maintaining sales opportunities and customer data in the CRM
- Actively using additional IT tools to support sales
- Managing and monitoring the sales pipeline
- Intentionally leveraging AI and automation tools to improve workflows, identify recurring use cases, and continuously optimize results.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in B2B sales of complex solutions — ideally in the manufacturing sector
- Native-level German and strong English skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Quick comprehension, adaptability, and a strong solution-oriented mindset
- Willingness to work independently and take responsibility
- Enjoy direct on-site client contact (travel up to 30%)
