About the role

  • Responsible for monitoring defective purchased materials
  • Coordinating with suppliers to obtain warranty credits and RMA numbers
  • Arranging shipments, processing credits, and reporting results to management
  • Monitoring defective purchased parts and rework activity for potential supplier warranty recovery
  • Coordinating with internal teams (Warranty, Quality, Purchasing, Production, Receiving) to ensure proper documentation is completed
  • Contacting suppliers to request warranty authorization, RMA numbers, and credit approval
  • Tracking warranty claims, RMAs, shipments, and credit status to completion
  • Arranging shipment of defective material to suppliers when required
  • Processing and verifying supplier credits, ensuring accuracy and timely posting
  • Maintaining organized electronic records and documentation in accordance with ISO requirements
  • Generating and distributing regular reports on warranty activity, recoveries, trends, and open claims
  • Communicating issues, delays, or risks to management in a timely manner
  • Identifying opportunities to improve warranty recovery processes and supplier performance

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office applications
  • Experience creating and maintaining spreadsheets, trackers, and basic reports
  • Ability to analyze data and present information clearly to management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple claims and priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a manufacturing environment
