About the role

  • Responsible for designing, packaging and optimizing various components of the vehicle
  • Develops world-class, robust engineering solutions for the Fire Apparatus industry
  • Collaborate in customer specification reviews and product planning meetings
  • Conduct research and analysis of customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data
  • Verify designs through calculations & other analytical techniques and tools

Requirements

  • 4 years bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Aerospace Engineering
  • Advanced knowledge and practical use of drawing and drafting standards
  • Proficiency in CAD systems – PTC CREO or equitant 3D software
  • Knowledge of NFPA/FMVSS standards related to Fire Apparatus is not required but will be beneficial
