About the role

  • Developing an Assortment Planning Template on Oracle RPAS.
  • Understand Assortment Planning Fundamentals: Gain a deep understanding of pre-season assortment planning, including hind-sighting, assortment strategy, shopping list creation, and buy plan development.
  • Master RPAS Configuration: Configure the Oracle RPAS platform, including hierarchies, measures, rules, and administrative workbooks.
  • Develop a Functional AP Template: Build a working AP template that addresses core business requirements.
  • Implement Scenario-Based Planning: Incorporate "what-if" scenario capabilities to enable flexible analysis and decision-making.
  • Develop a Forecast Bias Diagnostics Tool using the RELEX Solutions Forecasting Module/Platform to detect, visualize, and explain bias patterns over time.
  • Analyze potential root causes (seasonality, promotions, planner overrides).
  • Implement constrained replenishment processes to account for real-life limitations, including: Setting up store and DC replenishment workflows, Conducting testing strategies to validate constrained projections, Analyzing limitations of the functionality.

Requirements

  • Excellent academics in Comp. Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Ability to take on responsibilities and work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong technical aptitude, analytics skills, understanding models mathematically and statistics.
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
  • You can communicate like a champ, whether it's writing reports or presenting in a room full of people.
  • You're a team player, always up for sharing your ideas and best practices.
