About the role

  • Design and maintain the BFF layer that powers our mobile apps
  • Orchestrate calls to microservices, optimize payloads, handle caching and authentication
  • Integrate conversational assistants with RAG over customer financial data
  • Build autonomous agents for frictionless onboarding and issue resolution
  • Design hyper-contextual real-time personalization

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Node.js/TypeScript, GraphQL/REST, AWS
  • Experience deploying RAG pipelines to production (embeddings, vector stores, chunking)
  • Mastery of agent orchestration: tool calling, function calling, chains
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar
  • Experience with Anthropic/OpenAI models in production
  • Understand that in fintech, latency and accuracy are non-negotiable
  • Nice-to-have: feature flags, OpenTelemetry, CI/CD in fintech environments
  • Experience designing APIs intended for real mobile consumption
  • View the BFF of the future as an agent rather than a controller
