About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and maintain the BFF layer that powers our mobile apps
- Orchestrate calls to microservices, optimize payloads, handle caching and authentication
- Integrate conversational assistants with RAG over customer financial data
- Build autonomous agents for frictionless onboarding and issue resolution
- Design hyper-contextual real-time personalization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong experience with Node.js/TypeScript, GraphQL/REST, AWS
- Experience deploying RAG pipelines to production (embeddings, vector stores, chunking)
- Mastery of agent orchestration: tool calling, function calling, chains
- Familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar
- Experience with Anthropic/OpenAI models in production
- Understand that in fintech, latency and accuracy are non-negotiable
- Nice-to-have: feature flags, OpenTelemetry, CI/CD in fintech environments
- Experience designing APIs intended for real mobile consumption
- View the BFF of the future as an agent rather than a controller
