💰 $80,000 - $90,000 per year
About the role
- Process and track accounts payable invoices in accordance with company policy and ensure timely payments
- Initiate and manage domestic and international wire transfers following internal controls and approval processes
- Prepare and maintain documentation for month-end reconciliations using Excel in black-line format or similar tools
- Manage accrual reporting during the month-end close, including tracking outstanding liabilities and ensuring accurate cut-off procedures
- Maintain and reconcile prepaid expense schedules to ensure alignment with accounting standards and reporting timelines
- Request and document approvals for vendor invoices and other expenditures as required by internal controls
- Handle payroll tax, distribution withholding tax, 1099 forms, and other related tax matters
- Respond to vendor inquiries and requests by researching and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
- Assist in the preparation of schedules and reports for internal audits, external audits, and regulatory filings
- Participate in system improvements, process documentation, and implementation of internal accounting procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including AP, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including accruals, prepaids, and digital asset accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- CPA license or progress toward certification (preferred)
- Experience in fintech, cryptocurrency, or trust services industry (preferred)
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct (preferred)
