About the role

  • Implementing and refining various new and existing algorithms
  • Writing deployable code for analysis of “live” retail store environments
  • Porting and preparing code for both research and production environments
  • Writing code optimized for edge devices as well as AI accelerators including DSP / GPU
  • Conversion and optimization of neural network models for use on DSP and GPU
  • Perform technical performance benchmarking of algorithms and neural networks on CPU, GPU and DSP
  • Manual analysis and improvements to images and videos in terms of human labeling as well as output of algorithms

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Experience in an engineering role in industry
  • Proficiency in C++
  • Ability to optimize code for efficiency given hardware specifications and constraints
  • Experience working with Computer Vision and Machine Learning Applications
  • Experience with Computer Vision / Graphics libraries is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience with data annotation processes and tools is a plus
