Human Resources Coordinator
Retail Merchandising Services, Inc.. Coordinate recruiting efforts for field positions by identifying and utilizing a variety of candidate sourcing strategies to meet assigned recruiting metrics .
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate recruiting efforts for field positions by identifying and utilizing a variety of candidate sourcing strategies to meet assigned recruiting metrics
- Conduct screening interviews for qualified candidates using behavioral, competency based tools
- Process required background checks and new hire paperwork for select candidates
- Research employment legislation in different jurisdictions
- Oversee time off requests for field employees in order to minimize unassigned retail locations
- Work on assigned HR related projects as requested
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of previous Human Resources experience
- Basic knowledge of employment law best practices
- Previous experience with high volume, non-exempt recruiting strongly preferred
- Outstanding organizational skills, strong interpersonal/customer service abilities, and the ability to multi-task efficiently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel required
- Previous experience in a retail setting preferred, but not required
