About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsibility for the international sales of civil engineering products in the primary focus countries: UK, Ireland and Scandinavia
- Ongoing support, technical advice and development of international customers
- Strategic build-up and expansion of dealer and distribution networks
- Active acquisition of new customers within a (multi-level) international sales structure
- Additional support across Europe and other EMEA countries as required
- Conducting technical product presentations and on-site training
- Supporting international sales partners at customer events
- Identifying new market and sales opportunities through market monitoring
- Assisting and supporting tenders and infrastructure projects
- Strengthening and further developing long-term customer relationships internationally
- Close cooperation with internal specialist departments and sales units
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed technical or commercial vocational training, ideally supplemented by a degree in civil engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in international sales of technical products
- Ideally experience in civil engineering, building materials, drainage systems, stormwater management or infrastructure projects
- Technical understanding and a confident, consultative sales approach
- Strong communication skills, negotiation skills and intercultural competence
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented work style
- High willingness to travel internationally, primarily within Europe
- Confident use of common Office applications and CRM systems
- Business‑fluent German and English, both written and spoken
