About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsibility for the international sales of civil engineering products in the primary focus countries: UK, Ireland and Scandinavia
  • Ongoing support, technical advice and development of international customers
  • Strategic build-up and expansion of dealer and distribution networks
  • Active acquisition of new customers within a (multi-level) international sales structure
  • Additional support across Europe and other EMEA countries as required
  • Conducting technical product presentations and on-site training
  • Supporting international sales partners at customer events
  • Identifying new market and sales opportunities through market monitoring
  • Assisting and supporting tenders and infrastructure projects
  • Strengthening and further developing long-term customer relationships internationally
  • Close cooperation with internal specialist departments and sales units

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Successfully completed technical or commercial vocational training, ideally supplemented by a degree in civil engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in international sales of technical products
  • Ideally experience in civil engineering, building materials, drainage systems, stormwater management or infrastructure projects
  • Technical understanding and a confident, consultative sales approach
  • Strong communication skills, negotiation skills and intercultural competence
  • Structured, independent and solution-oriented work style
  • High willingness to travel internationally, primarily within Europe
  • Confident use of common Office applications and CRM systems
  • Business‑fluent German and English, both written and spoken
