About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsibility for international sales of civil engineering products in the primary focus countries: UK, Ireland, Scandinavia
- Ongoing support, consulting and development of international customers
- Strategic establishment and expansion of dealer and distribution networks
- Active new-customer acquisition within a (multi-tier) international sales system
- Providing adjacent support across Europe and other EMEA countries as needed
- Conducting technical product presentations and on-site training
- Supporting international sales partners at customer events
- Identifying new market and sales opportunities through market monitoring
- Supporting and accompanying tenders and infrastructure projects
- Strengthening and further developing long-term international customer relationships
- Close cooperation with internal specialist departments and sales units
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed technical or commercial vocational training, ideally complemented by a degree in civil engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in international sales of technical products
- Ideally experience in civil engineering, building materials, drainage systems, stormwater management or infrastructure projects
- Technical understanding and a confident, consultative sales presence
- Strong communication skills, negotiation skills and intercultural competence
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
- High willingness to travel internationally, primarily within Europe
- Confident use of common Office applications and CRM systems
- Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
