About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsibility for international sales of civil engineering products in the primary focus countries: UK, Ireland, Scandinavia
  • Ongoing support, consulting and development of international customers
  • Strategic establishment and expansion of dealer and distribution networks
  • Active new-customer acquisition within a (multi-tier) international sales system
  • Providing adjacent support across Europe and other EMEA countries as needed
  • Conducting technical product presentations and on-site training
  • Supporting international sales partners at customer events
  • Identifying new market and sales opportunities through market monitoring
  • Supporting and accompanying tenders and infrastructure projects
  • Strengthening and further developing long-term international customer relationships
  • Close cooperation with internal specialist departments and sales units

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Successfully completed technical or commercial vocational training, ideally complemented by a degree in civil engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in international sales of technical products
  • Ideally experience in civil engineering, building materials, drainage systems, stormwater management or infrastructure projects
  • Technical understanding and a confident, consultative sales presence
  • Strong communication skills, negotiation skills and intercultural competence
  • Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
  • High willingness to travel internationally, primarily within Europe
  • Confident use of common Office applications and CRM systems
  • Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
