About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Brand Stewardship: Develop, maintain, and scale comprehensive brand guidelines that govern the look and feel for both the parent company and individual product lines.
- Visual Asset Creation: Design high-fidelity graphics, icons, and illustrative elements that will be integrated into our medical device software and marketing materials.
- Motion & Animation: Create purposeful animations and transitions to improve user comprehension within the product and elevate storytelling in brand communications.
- Data Representation: Translate abstract neural data and AI states into intuitive, high-fidelity visual representations that provide clarity to both clinicians and patients.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Interaction Designers to apply visual systems to UI components and work with clinical/product teams to ensure the brand resonates with clinicians and patients.
- Production Excellence: Manage the end-to-end creative process from conceptual moodboarding to the delivery of production-ready assets for web, mobile, and hardware interfaces.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven Brand Expertise: A strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to build and implement complex visual identity systems across digital and physical touchpoints.
- Illustration & Graphical Skills: Ability to create custom medical or technical illustrations and graphics that simplify complex data for patients.
- Motion Design Proficiency: Experience in 2D animation (e.g., After Effects, Lottie, or Figma motion) to create functional and decorative animations.
- Systematic Thinking: Experience building style guides and component libraries that remain scalable, accessible, and easy for cross-functional teams to implement.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare/Med-Tech Experience: Experience translating complex clinical concepts into accessible and professional visuals.
- Device Systems & Ecosystems: Experience designing for integrated systems where software interacts with physical hardware.
- Environmental/Packaging Design: Experience applying brand identity to physical spaces or medical device packaging.
