• Lead the design and setup of new lab spaces, coordinate with contractors for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing requirements specific to medical device testing

Lab Manager

Firmware Test Engineer

Hardware Engineer

• Collect product requirements and design inputs from various teams, and translate them to firmware needs
• Develop firmware (and accompanying software) that meets product requirements and complies with FDA development standards
• Collaborate with electrical, hardware, and software engineers in creating sophisticated medical devices
• Design and implement firmware testing plans for verification/validation purposes
• Create documents describing firmware architectures

Senior Firmware Engineer

Engineer

• Develop and optimize in‑house assembly processes for soft neural interface devices.
• Perform electrochemical characterization and mechanical testing of devices.
• Conduct troubleshooting and failure analysis to provide design feedback.
• Work with external vendors on manufacturing and assembly process outsourcing.

R&D Engineer

• Design and prototyping of mechanical components and assemblies including rapid prototyping, machining, injection molding
• Develop electromechanical test systems for characterizing and testing hardware devices
• Develop test protocols, implement design verification testing, oversee testing with vendors
• Perform analysis of test data, author technical reports, oversee test reports from vendors
• Develop component and assembly drawings including tolerance stack-ups and analyses
• Develop and execute design verification activities

Senior Hardware Engineer

Supply Chain

• Facilitate S&OP inputs and drive alignment between demand forecasts, supply, capacity, and material availability to support 12–18‑month rolling business plans
• Conduct scenario planning and capacity modeling to anticipate constraints and ensure readiness for development, clinical, and commercial phases.
• Monitor supplier lead times, yield assumptions, MOQ impacts, and procurement strategies to build stable plans and manage risk..
• Translate forecast, engineering build plans, and project needs into schedules and supplier POs driving purchase order management to ensure on time finished good and material availability.
• Engage with Engineering to ensure component specifications, inspection criteria, and acceptance requirements are clearly defined.
• Lead day‑to‑day engagement with external supply partners, CMs, and critical suppliers to ensure capacity, material availability, and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate weekly/monthly operational meetings with suppliers (production, quality, backlog review, escalations, MOR, QBR, etc.).
• Manage supplier commitments for delivery, quality, and lead‑time; drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives through KPIs (e.g. OTD, material availability, yields, lead-time, inventory turns, PPV, etc.).
• Drive supplier compliance with Quality for agreements, including change control, inspection requirements, quality obligations, supplier audits, and ensure procurement documentation is complete.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, terms, and supply agreements; manage PPV and year‑over‑year cost improvement targets.
• Optimize inventory strategies (safety stock, reorder points, min/max, planning horizons) for supplier‑driven environments.
• Identify and mitigate exposure to long‑lead materials, supply disruptions, and single‑source risks.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels across internal and external sites; manage slow‑moving / excess / obsolete (E&O) and execute disposition strategies.
• Serve as a system owner and super‑user for operations including master data management / planning / purchasing modules (NetSuite or equivalent).
• Participate in development and launch of ERP system
• Own and manage MRP parameter governance (safety stock, lead time, lot size, planning horizons) and item master data for accuracy (item master, BOM structures, etc.)
• Govern planning parameters, dashboards, and automated alerts to ensure accuracy and predictability.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline supply chain workflows, systems and eliminate waste.

Senior Supply Chain Planner

• Execute in-house design verification tests
• Execute testing with external test labs
• Work with engineering team to develop custom tests
• Collaborate with design engineers to characterize custom hardware
• Dry-running tests for transfer to vendors

Senior Hardware Test Engineer

• Primary contact for technical support to ensure Echo’s suppliers succeed in delivering products and services critical to Echo’s success.
• Provide input and collaborative support to the product development process ensuring that design outputs are well defined, manufacturable, and consistent with medical device quality system requirements.
• Work with suppliers and Echo’s development team to ensure that suppliers appropriately implement specifications for components, assemblies, and finished devices consistent with design intent and quality system requirements.
• Develop documentation that accurately maps Echo’s designs into supplier’s processes.
• Participate in risk management activities including Process FMEAs, Validation, and failure analysis.
• Continuously improve supply chain related processes with an eye toward adding value & improving efficiency.
• Maintain a goal oriented, collaborative & productive work environment.
• Ensure product is manufactured in compliance with Echo’s quality system, FDA and EU Requirements. Reconcile any conflicts between Echo’s quality system and suppliers.
• Provide technical support to resolve non-conformance and corrective actions with suppliers.

Manufacturing Process Engineer

• Primary contact for technical support to Ensure Echo’s suppliers succeed in delivering products and services critical to Echo’s success.
