About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Sales Manager in overseeing the daily operations and performance of the sales team
- Assist in coaching, mentoring, and motivating sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets
- Monitor pipeline activity and opportunity progression to ensure timely follow-up and conversion
- Ensure all customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities are accurately documented in the CRM system
- Assist with preparing sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for leadership review
- Work closely with team members to identify sales opportunities and improve customer engagement strategies
- Help maintain pricing consistency and support competitive pricing strategies aligned with company goals
- Collaborate with Marketing to align promotional campaigns and lead generation efforts with sales objectives
- Support onboarding and ongoing training initiatives for new and existing sales team members
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and commercial kitchen equipment solutions to better support customers and the sales team
- Assist in resolving customer escalations and internal team challenges in a professional and timely manner
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3+ years of sales leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in foodservice equipment, hospitality supply, or B2B eCommerce
- Proven ability to support sales teams in achieving and exceeding revenue goals
- Experience working with CRM platforms such as NetSuite CRM, Salesforce, or similar systems
- Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and customer relationship management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and motivate team members
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in reporting and sales performance tracking
- High level of professionalism, accountability, and emotional intelligence
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
