- Conduct performance assessments using simulation
- Establish usability metrics and recommend design enhancements for clinical tools
- Analyze policy and aggregate process performance to identify latent issues
- Promote HCD methods and practices across the VA
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in HFE or related field
- 10 years in HFE research and application
- Mastery of HFE methods, usability studies, and statistical analysis
- Thorough understanding of NIST and ISO standards for healthcare usability
- Expertise in organizational psychology and cognitive load theory
